Job Description
Job Summary:The Assembler is responsible for assembling components and subassemblies into finished products. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow instructions and blueprints. The Assembler will work closely with other team members to ensure that products meet quality standards and are completed on time.Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble components and subassemblies according to specifications, blueprints, and work orders.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to perform assembly tasks.
- Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Identify and report any defects or issues in components or finished products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to address any assembly-related issues or concerns.
- Perform routine maintenance on assembly tools and equipment as needed.
- Document assembly processes and any deviations from standard procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic math skills and the ability to measure and cut materials accurately.
- Ability to lift and move heavy components as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Manual dexterity and coordination.
- Capability to lift to [specify weight, e.g., 50 pounds] regularly.
- This position is based in a [manufacturing/production/assembly] environment.
- The role may involve exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
