Assembler
Job Description
Pay: $15.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Position OverviewWe are seeking a reliable Assembler to build components and subassemblies into finished products in a manufacturing environment. This role requires hands-on assembly experience, the ability to follow written and visual instructions, and comfort with repetitive work. Candidates must be detail-oriented and able to meet daily production and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble components and subassemblies using work orders, blueprints, or written instructions
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks
- Inspect finished assemblies to ensure they meet quality and accuracy standards
- Identify and report defects, missing parts, or assembly issues
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift
- Maintain clean and organized workstations
- Follow all safety and quality control procedures
- Communicate with supervisors or team members regarding production issues
- Complete basic documentation related to assembly tasks
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ years of previous assembly or manufacturing experience required.
- Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams, or blueprints
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math skills (measuring, counting, simple calculations)
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm motions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Ability to bend, reach, and handle components throughout shift
- Manufacturing / production / assembly setting
- Exposure to moderate noise, dust, and varying temperatures
- Fast-paced environment with production goals
