Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying protective coatings, paints, and finishes to a variety of industrial products and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting, be detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe, clean work environment.Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed.
- Apply paint, coatings, and finishes using spray guns, rollers, and brushes, ensuring even coverage and a high-quality finish.
- Mix and match paint colors and coatings according to specifications and project requirements.
- Inspect finished work to ensure that it meets company standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain and operate painting equipment and tools safely, ensuring proper cleaning and maintenance.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain an organized work area, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules.
- Previous experience as an Industrial Painter or in a similar role is required.
- Familiarity with industrial paints, coatings, and application techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and product specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate and maintain spray guns, airless sprayers, and other painting equipment.
- Knowledge of safety practices related to industrial painting, including handling hazardous materials.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
