Job Description

Mechanical Assembler Technician Responsible for installing components, assemblies, and subassemblies on the production line. Performs mechanical assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks related to equipment and products. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical and manufacturing background, can read prints and follow standards, and works effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Primary ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructionsInstall components using current assembly practicesPerform fitting, mounting, alignment, adjustments, operational testing, repairs, troubleshooting, and diagnosticsAssist in training and supporting other personnelSafely operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipmentTrack components throughout the assembly processMaintain a clean, organized, and safe workstationComplete required assembly documentationFollow all workplace safety proceduresPerform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum two years of mechanical assembly and/or maintenance experience requiredAn accredited certificate in heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial maintenance is preferredAbility to manage time effectively in a manufacturing environmentAbility to follow all safety procedures and properly use PPEAbility to safely operate hand tools and equipmentDetail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracyStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAdaptable in a changing production environmentTeam-oriented with strong communication skills
