Assembly Technician – 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)Location: Oklahoma City, OK**
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $19.00
Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to support the production and assembly of electrical and mechanical components. This role plays a key part in building high-quality parts and equipment by following detailed instructions, reading technical documents, and using various hand and power tools.Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude, experience working in manufacturing, and the ability to work with precision and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, install, and inspect components and sub-assemblies according to work instructions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and manufacturing process documents.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, measuring tools, and other equipment safely and correctly.
  • Follow production schedules and complete assembly tasks within required timeframes.
  • Inspect parts for correct fit, finish, and function; report any defects or issues.
  • Maintain clean work areas and follow all safety procedures.
  • Assist with material handling, staging components, and organizing workstations as needed.
  • Document completed work and update production records accurately.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of assembly, manufacturing, or mechanical experience preferred.
  • Ability to read measuring tools such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly instructions, diagrams, and BOMs.
  • Comfortable using hand tools, drills, impacts, and shop equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and nationwide background check.
  • Basic computer skills (for documentation and production tracking).
