Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Plant Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Location: South OKCJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on CNC machines and related manufacturing equipment. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure continuous and efficient production.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.).
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
  • Conduct troubleshooting using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
  • Replace worn or defective parts such as bearings, seals, wiring, and motors.
  • Maintain documentation for all maintenance work including service reports and logs.
  • Assist with installation, setup, and calibration of new CNC machines.
  • Work closely with machinists, production supervisors, and engineers to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Keep inventory of spare parts and request replacements as needed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical school or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience maintaining CNC machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak, etc.).
  • Understanding of mechanical systems, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Skills:
  • PLC troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with automated and robotic systems.
  • Welding and fabrication skills.
  • Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices.
Work Environment:
  • Manufacturing floor with exposure to moving machinery, noise, and occasional exposure to lubricants and solvents.
  • Must wear appropriate PPE.
