Computer IT Technician

Job Description

  1. B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  2. Will be responsible for the computer needs associated with the manufacturing of our products.
  3. Strong customer support skills via phone, video conference, and remote access.
    1. Good communication skills.  Able to clearly and precisely assist our customers.
    2. Should be able to represent our company with a professional appearance / attitude.
    3. Able to concisely help diagnose our customers computer hardware & software issues.
    4. Able to concisely install upgrades / updates to our customers systems.
  4. Strong networking skills
    1. Able to set up equipment to send to customers
    2. Able to integrate our equipment into customer’s existing networks.
  5. Strong skills in testing and debugging software written by our company.
    1. Able to understand and discuss software algorithms and data structures
    2. Solid understanding of databases and connections
  6. Strong creative ability to help design and inspire our new software applications
    1. Ability to evaluate our customer’s needs and provide solutions to mature our products
    2. Understanding of Apple / Android Store and app deployment is a plus.
  7. Able to assemble computers, run diagnostics and install an OS (DOS – Windows 11)
  8. Able to diagnose, repair, rebuild computers sent back to our company.
  9. We are a manufacture.
    1. Physical needs include standing, squatting, kneeling and bending for extended times as well as lifting 30lbs and more with assistance. 
    2. A mechanical aptitude and the ability to use small hand tools on a daily basis is required.
  10. This job is a temp-to-hire full-time position.
    1. Individuals must be able to work 40 hours per week.
    2. Typical hours are Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm.
    3. Once hired full time, benefits will include paid major holidays, sick leave, and vacation time.
    4. Mid-year and year-end bonus are also paid according to your performance and the performance of the company as a whole.
