Computer Systems Support Specialist
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer support via phone, video conferencing, and remote access tools.
- Diagnose and resolve customer hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Install system updates, and upgrades for new configurations.
- Integrate company equipment into customer networks.
- Test and debug internally developed software.
- Assist in the design and improvement of new software applications.
- Evaluate customer needs and recommend solutions to enhance product performance.
- Prepare and configure equipment for shipment to customers.
- Repair, rebuild, and diagnose returned computer systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Strong networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Solid understanding of databases and system connectivity.
- Ability to understand and discuss software algorithms and data structures.
- Experience with OS installation (DOS through Windows 11).
- Familiarity with Apple and Android app deployment is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional demeanor and ability to represent the company effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using small hand tools.
- Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 30+ lbs with assistance.
- Full-time, temp-to-hire position.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Benefits upon full-time hire include paid holidays, sick leave, vacation, and performance-based bonuses.
