Crater job description
Pay Rate: $20.60 per hour (2nd shift) Monday-Friday
After units are assembled, they are moved to the Crating area. Smaller units are placed in boxes, and larger units are placed in open wooden crates. The crates vary based on size and shape of the units, so the employee uses basic blueprints to determine how to assemble each crate. The Craters measure and cut the boards to the proper length and use nail guns and staple guns to build the crate around the unit. Craters are also responsible to add the appropriate accessories to the order, and ensure that the order is complete so some paperwork is required.
