Job Description

We are selecting a technical, detail-driven Fabrication Operator who wants to grow with us and become an equipment-owner Specialist. This is a STEM-minded seat for someone who reads prints, measures with precision, thinks critically, and wants to own a process, not just run a machine. Our goal is a fabrication team that is continually upskilled to keep up with this technical growth and to meet the demand for on-time delivery and quality that defines our customer experience. You will own a part of the operation and stay flexible to move across the department and our locations as the work demands.What You Will Do• Read manufacturing prints, set up and run fabrication equipment, holding every part to the tolerances given.• Measure with precision using calipers, feeler gauges, pin gauges, and a tape measure, and own the quality of what you produce.• Build and kit to the work order, accurately and on schedule, so welding and assembly receive complete, conforming work.• Perform tool changes and keep your tooling and equipment in safe, ready condition.• Record and report in our manufacturing systems, so every job carries live, accurate data.• Own your part of the operation and flex across the department and locations as the work demands.• Work safely, support continuous improvement, and help the team get better.Who We Are Looking ForThis is a technical, STEM-style seat. We can teach our products and processes; we are looking for someone who brings the fundamentals, the discipline, and the drive to grow.What We Look For What That MeansPrints and quality Able to read manufacturing prints, with a background in quality. Plate manufacturing experience is a plus.Tools andmeasurement Strong with hand tools and tool changes, and with quality measuring tools: calipers, feeler gauges, pin gauges, and a tape measure read to 1/64 inch.Systems Familiar with an ERP or a manufacturing system for recording and reporting.Technical aptitude A STEM-minded problem solver and critical thinker, curious about automation and new technology; light programming knowledge is a plus, and the aptitude to grow into programming is valued.Work ethic Organized, disciplined, detail-oriented, and self-starter who takes pride in the work.People Emotionally intelligent, team-oriented, a good listener, communicator, and mentor who keeps learning.The PathWe select for the long term, we upskill our people, and we promote from within.
