Header CNC Operator
Location:Catoosa, OK
A leading provider of innovative thermal solutions and engineering services for the industrial and manufacturing sectors is seeking a skilled Header CNC Operator to join their team.
Job Summary:
As a Header CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process, operating specialized CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality metal components for our clients' industrial applications. Leveraging your expertise in CNC programming and metal fabrication, you will ensure the efficient and precise operation of the Header CNC machine, producing parts that meet strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate the Header CNC machine to manufacture metal components according to specifications
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal output and product quality
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the CNC equipment to prevent downtime
- Collaborate with the production team to identify process improvements and implement best practices
- Maintain detailed records of production data, machine settings, and quality control checks
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to ensure a safe and sustainable work environment
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience operating CNC machinery, preferably in a metal fabrication or manufacturing setting
- Strong understanding of CNC programming, tooling, and machine operation
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to quickly identify and resolve issues
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and precision
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC machining preferred
Working Conditions:
This position will be based in our modern manufacturing facility, where you will work in a climate-controlled environment. The work can involve standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and exposure to noise and vibration from the CNC equipment. A flexible schedule with some overtime may be required to meet production demands.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $49,000 - $52,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
