Help Desk Support Staff
Job Description
OverviewWe are hiring an IT Support Specialist to provide technical support while delivering excellent customer service to internal users.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people just as much as solving technical issues. Think of this as a customer service-driven help desk role — where communication and attitude are just as important as technical ability.

What You’ll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support (phone & email)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PCs, systems, and basic networking
- Create and manage tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up
- Support users with Microsoft systems and business applications
- Assist with account setup and management (Active Directory)
- Communicate clearly with users on issue status and resolutions
- Escalate more complex issues when needed
- Install, configure, and support hardware and software
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure smooth operations
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2+ years of Help Desk or IT Support experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with Active Directory (highly preferred)
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow is a plus)
- Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience supporting Windows environments and Office 365
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and user issues
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
Preferred
- Associate’s degree in IT or related field
- A+ or Microsoft certifications
- Experience in a corporate or enterprise environment
