Integrated Operations Center Tech I
Job Summary:
Provide front-line event management for IT systems, networks, devices, and facilities. Monitor systems to ensure high availability and quick recovery from incidents. Troubleshoot issues, coordinate with internal/external teams, and maintain compliance with cybersecurity and operational standards. Track and escalate incidents through work tickets.
Responsibilities:
Monitor IT systems and networks to proactively identify issues.
Respond to alerts, diagnose, and resolve incidents using diagnostic tools.
Prioritize and manage concurrent events, escalating as needed.
Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve incidents and address root causes.
Perform routine tasks like network troubleshooting, backups, and upgrades.
Manage planned outages and maintenance.
Provide professional customer service and adhere to cybersecurity policies.
Use Service Management tools to log activities.
Provide limited after-hours support for Service Desk rollover calls.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field, or 3 years relevant experience.
1 year related experience with certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cisco CCENT/CCNA.
Skills:
Event/incident management and troubleshooting.
Strong initiative and team coordination skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Technical knowledge of networks, systems, and software.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Familiarity with tools like IBM Tivoli Netcool and BMC Remedy.
Working Conditions:
May require non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
Fast-paced environment with quick response times.
Office-based, with extended periods of sitting and computer use.
$25.00 an hour contract to hire
