Job Description
Job DescriptionDuties include maintaining and fabricating tooling, jigs, and fixtures. Technician will work with facility maintenance and manufacturing engineering on new tooling designs and repairs. NC Programming/CAD drawing experience is a plus. Familiarity with the operation of lathe, milling, grinding, drill press, and other machine tools is preferred Responsibilities:- Grind and sharpen production tooling within allowable tolerance- Diagnose and repair tooling and stamping dies- Assist in design and development of new stamping and forming dies Qualifications:- Experience working in sheet metal environment is preferred- Any CNC machinist or Tool and Die Maker experience is preferred- Ability to read and interpret drawings / blueprints- Ability to use precision instruments and equipment i.e. micrometer, caliper- High school diploma / GED is required- NC Programming CAD Drawing experience is a plus
