Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Maintenance Technician:1st shift 6:00am to 4:30pm 10-hour day shift OT as needed. $20.00 - $24.00 DOE. 5 years’ experience.Providing maintenance in a Fabrication Shop.Trouble shoot and repair basic hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, and maintain fabrication facility needs. Facilitate inspections of shop equipment and safety audits. Ability to create/maintain a maintenance schedule and provide written reports to management.Basic tools for the job are required.
Duties:
Ensure all standard functions of the facility are operational and safe,paint booth, lights, heaters, A/C,
doors, roof, toilets, outlets.
Ensure all standard and specialty functions of equipment are operational and safe (power tools, bench
grinders, HEM saws, chop saws.
Document all inspections performed as previously stated.
Maintain organization and inventory of the tool crib and company assets.
Maintain all company vehicles and keep track of tag dates as well.Operate non-CDL company trucks and trailers as needed.
Perform safety inspection and interaction functions.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend for extended periods up to 10 hours per shift.
Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to read blueprints, measure components, and inspect welds for quality
and accuracy.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including welding hood, gloves, steel toed
