Preventative Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift Shift:
  • Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Friday & Saturday OT (as needed): 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
    Schedule: Full-time | Overtime Required
    Pay: Based on experience | Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Preventative Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance and repair operations within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and maintain industrial machinery.
Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, controls, components, and industrial wiring
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
  • Service mechanic drives, power transmission equipment, pumps, and piping as needed
  • Assist in the setup and installation of new machines and equipment upgrades
  • Maintain plant electrical systems and ensure safe operating conditions
  • Perform maintenance on forklifts, manlifts, and other motorized equipment (gas and electric)
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, and service documentation
  • Provide general plant maintenance support to ensure continuous operations
  • Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and equipment standards
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Technical school, trade school, or electrical/mechanical training preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience repairing and maintaining electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in an industrial setting
  • Ability to read schematics, electrical diagrams, and equipment manuals
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check
  • Military experience a plus
Work Environment
  • Industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to heavy machinery
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and work on equipment for extended periods
  • PPE required at all times
