Job Description
Experienced Trailer MechanicLocation: Yukon, OK
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $18+
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain medium- to heavy-duty trucks and trailers. This role requires hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems and the ability to work independently while following safety and industry standards.
This is a working mechanic role, not an entry-level position.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain medium- to heavy-duty trucks and trailers. This role requires hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems and the ability to work independently while following safety and industry standards.
This is a working mechanic role, not an entry-level position.
Primary Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on medium- and heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Repair and service:
- Air and hydraulic brake systems
- Tires and wheel assemblies
- Driveline components
- Steering and suspension systems
- Electrical systems
- Mobile AC / refrigeration units
- Perform engine overhauls and rebuilds as required
- Follow warranty procedures for repairs and services
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate service records
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance
- Work independently and collaborate with team members as needed
- 3+ years of recent experience as a Trailer Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- Proven experience working on medium- to heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Hands-on experience with:
- Air brake systems
- Hydraulic systems
- Suspension and steering
- Electrical diagnostics
- Engine repair or rebuilds
- Ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs without constant supervision
- Ability to work standard schedule with occasional overtime
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
- Shop and yard environment
- Standing, bending, lifting, and working with tools throughout the shift
- Ability to lift heavy components as required
- Exposure to grease, oils, machinery, and shop noise
