Job Description
SummaryWorks with both managers and production employees to ensure the company hits its production goals on time and within budget. Handle all the scheduling and ensure the materials, machines and workspaces are ready to go to increase production efficiency. Primary DutiesCreating production schedulesAnalyzing forecasting dataCoordinating manufacturing processesImplementing strategies to optimize productivity and efficiencyOverseeing the workflow of the production hub or facilityCoordinating the production of one or more productsEnsuring the promptness and accuracy of the production processScheduling and coordinating the manufacturing process to increase efficiency, minimize waste, and optimize resourcesHaving expertise in planning, organizing, and evaluating production schedules, raw materials, and labor requirements QualificationsMinimum 3-5 years’ experience planning in a manufacturing environmentExperience with following quality and engineering standardsExpertise with analytic tools, such as spreadsheets and database managersAbility to read and interpret technical documentsExcellent written communication and interpersonal skills RequirementsMinimum 3 years’ experience Planning in a relevant industryRelevant degree or equivalent combination of experience/educationDemonstrated proficiency with Excel and Project Management software Physical Requirements/Work EnvironmentAbility to move through facility and up and down stairsAbility to lift 50 lbs.Ability to visually see hard copy customer/engineering specifications
