Night Shift Machine Operator

Job Description

Machine OperatorNight Shift 4PM-2AM $15 an hr to start, $16 once hired on, Additional $1 if forklift certified! Will train on day shift 6AM-4Pm then switch to nights. 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operating Machinery:
Running and controlling machinery according to instructions and production plans. 
  1. Monitoring and Adjusting:
Observing machine performance, making necessary adjustments, and troubleshooting issues. 
  1. Quality Control:
Inspecting finished products for defects and ensuring they meet quality standards. 
  1. Maintenance and Cleaning:
Performing routine maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of machinery and the work area. 
  1. Loading and Unloading:
Loading raw materials into machines and unloading finished products, potentially using material handling equipment like forklifts. 
  1. Record Keeping:
Maintaining records of production output, machine performance, and maintenance activities. 
  1. Safety Compliance:
Following safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and reporting any hazards. Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. 
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in production and quality control. 
  • Physical Dexterity: Performing tasks that require manual dexterity and coordination. Ability to lift 45lbs+ and work in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Communication Skills: Communicating effectively with supervisors and other team members. 
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during production. 
  • Adaptability: Adjusting to different production processes and machine types.
