Job Description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Perform start-up and changeover at the Take Off Area in compliance with the production schedule
  2. Maintain all production tags, roll wrap, cores, and core tags, and take off inspection reports
  3. Input roll or sheet data into the production data system as required
  4. Monitor material coming through the trim saw area for any defects
  5. Follow safety rules and keep the work area in a clean and orderly condition
  6. Execute emergency procedures in case of power failure
  7. Assist the oven operator in getting material out of the oven and the extruder operator as required during start-up, breaker plate changeover, or die changeover
  8. Communicate any changes at the Take Off area with the Extruder Operator and Oven Operator as required
  9. Use time during shutdown and/or changeover to perform housekeeping in the work area and provide support to other members of the line team as required
  10. Assist Extruder Operator, Take Off Operator, and Water Spider as required to ensure efficient and effective operation of the entire line
 Job Qualifications and Requirements 
  1. High school diploma required
  2. 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  3. Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Possess the ability to plan out a workday and multitask to complete objectives.
  5. Demonstrate ability to read as well as follow safety information, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  6. Be willing to build relationships with internal and external partners/customers.
  7. Demonstrate integrity, maturity, and a constructive approach to challenges.
  8. Demonstrate efficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications
  9. Possesses basic written and verbal communication skills.
 
  1. Candidate must currently have no more than four (4) attendance points.
  2. Candidate must have no current disciplinary or performance actions on file.
Time Type:

Full time $14.50 to start until you go perm Sunday through 6:45 pm to 7:15 am
