Paralegal Position OverviewLocation: Oklahoma City
Position: Paralegal
Salary Range: $52,000 - $68,000
Hours: 40 per week
Type: Direct HireAbout the Firm:
We have a client, a growing law firm seeking a qualified Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing daily operations, supporting our legal team, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Client and Court Communication: Interact with clients, counsel, and court representatives.
  • Legal Documentation: Manage legal documents and correspondence.
  • Administrative Duties: Coordinate appointments, and handle recordkeeping, and manage phone calls.
  • Case Investigation: Investigate case facts and ensure all relevant information is considered.
  • Legal Research: Identify materials, legal articles, judicial decisions, and laws relevant to cases.
  • Document Preparation: Draft documents and letters, and prepare motions and pleadings for court filing.
  • File Management: Organize and track case documents to ensure accessibility.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Education: Two-year degree or equivalent certification.
  • Experience: 1-3 years as a legal assistant preferred, especially in malpractice, product liability, wrongful death, or similar fields.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of working independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge: Experience in consumer law and commercial transactions is a plus.
