Planner/Product Data ManagerMonday-Friday 7a-3:30pPay Range: $50K-$62K
JOB SUMMARY:To work with Sales and Production to establish define and meet customers’ requirements. Manage and monitor production schedule based on available resources. Work with Purchasing to ensure material availability. Work with subcontractors to ensure adequate outsourced processes. Abide by company policies and procedures and interact with all employees in a positive and fair manner. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work with shop supervisors and leads to resolve scheduling conflicts. Demonstrate professional or technical expertise in manufacturing processes and workflow and order of operations. Must effectively demonstrate use of MRP system. Anticipates potential problems or conflicts and proactively develops solutions. Takes responsibility for actions, including follow-through on assignments. JOB ELEMENTS:Review shop capacity and material availability and issue production orders to manufacturing.Communicate daily with shop supervisors and leads to resolve scheduling conflicts; notify Sales when schedule cannot be maintained.Serves as a liaison between Production, Materials, and Sales.Ensures all capacity constraints are identified and proposed solutions implemented to avoid late shipments or cost overruns.Ability to review and establish priorities for customer orders, and revise schedules accordingly.Team player that is self-motivated and able to work under pressure.Analyze historic data to identify trends and define opportunities for improvement
