Job Description
Pre-Litigation Legal Assistant - Pay DOE
Responsible for oversight and management of personal injury cases in pre-litigation stage.
Oversee each client case from intake thru pre-suit settlement and facilitates hand-off to pre-lit to litigation stage.Providing updates and speaking with clients on their treatment and the claims process.
Intake:
File set upRequest records/bills
Send LOR
Request subrogation
Schedule medical treatment
Follow-Up:
LOR Responses
Medical records/bills, updating records
Compiling balances and determining paid v. incurred
Med pay submission
Demands:
Making sure all records/bills have been received
Initial draft of demands
Submitting demands to insurance carrier with attachments
Calendaring
