Press Break OperatorMonday-Friday 5am-3:30pmPay Range: $18-$20 Hourly
Summary:This standard defines the task and responsibilities for Break Operator.
Task and Responsibilities:The Break Operator shall be responsible for, but not limited to the following:This job requires the individual to work with and around overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, power equipment, automated equipment and other hazardous processes which requires this job to be classified a SAFETY SENSITIVE position.Interpret drawings for a project, set up machine, perform regular maintenanceInspect metal while shaping it, and adjusting as neededProductivity level must consistently equal the Company’s established productivity requirements, as defined by work instructions.Workmanship must meet the Company’s quality standards.Follow Premier safety policies and procedures.Sustain 5’s requirements. Must demonstrate the desire to perform in a professional manner as a member of a team and give inputs on activities that will help complete project assignments in a timely and efficient manner while upholding the safety and quality standards. Skills and Experience:Basic Fabrication shop experienceAble to operate overhead cranes and power toolsAble to read and write basic shop communicationsAble to use shop tape measurerAble to use a micrometer and other measuring toolsAble to learn to read shop drawings and understand bill of materialsMust have the ability to learn new skills
