Job Description
A Production Associate is needed to assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of printing press equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to producing high-quality print products.Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor printing press equipment according to production specifications.
- Set up and adjust machinery for various jobs (ink distribution, paper feed, alignment).
- Troubleshoot printing issues like misfeeds, mechanical errors, or color inconsistencies.
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure output meets required standards.
- Clean and maintain equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Load and unload materials such as paper and ink for production use.
- Maintain production records and report any downtime or discrepancies.
- Perform quality control inspections and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist with inventory and keep supplies organized and stocked.
- Work collaboratively to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Follow all safety guidelines and workplace procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Manufacturing or printing experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Flexibility to work night shifts: Thursday–Saturday, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
