Printing Press D Shift
Job Description
- Set up and operate printing press equipment, ensuring proper settings for each job.
- Monitor the printing process to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing press machines to ensure smooth operation.
- Inspect printed materials for defects and make adjustments as needed.
- Ensure proper loading of paper, ink, and other materials for each job.
- Record and report any operational issues, production statistics, or other relevant data.
- Follow safety guidelines and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and work in a safe manner at all times.
- Assist with machine calibration, ink mixing, and maintenance of materials.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure deadlines are met and production targets are achieved.
- Previous experience as a Printing Press Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
- Basic mechanical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the designated night shift (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing or machine operation is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to operate machinery.
- Ability to work in a noisy environment with occasional exposure to fumes and chemicals used in the printing process.
- Night Shift (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
