Train on A Shift Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 6:30am - 7:00pm
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex machinery used in the production process. This role requires a strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure consistent product quality while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, calibrate, and operate advanced machinery to produce high-quality products according to specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal production levels and product quality.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, production schedules, and work orders to accurately produce items.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions and production issues, working closely with maintenance and technical support teams.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Maintain accurate production records, including quantities produced, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machinery operation is a plus.
- Proven experience operating complex machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work orders.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for monitoring and recording production data.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate to heavy materials.
- Good manual dexterity and coordination for operating machinery.
