Production Control Coordinators
Job Description
Production Control Coordinator SummaryEnsures production work is scheduled and delivered meeting on-time delivery expectations of both internal and External customers. Works with all departments to provide timely feedback on operations and issuing new requirements in a timely manner. Primary DutiesPlan production control activities to improve efficiency while maintaining quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness through grouping of jobs to reduce setups. Work with operations to ensure timely flow of materials considering staffing and planned down times. Assure that all jobs are issued in support of customer lead times but not outside of the protected window of Rev control. Work with the materials department to reduce inventory levels.Optimize scheduling of manufacturing processes and resources.Other Duties as Assigned QualificationsProven leadership skillsExpertise with analytic tools, such as spreadsheets and database managersExcellent written communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skillsStrong computer skills (Microsoft office)Experience with Epicor preferredAbility to provide and report out on metrics RequirementsBasic understanding of shop operations and planning process Demonstrated proficiency with ERP and Excel software Physical Requirements/Work EnvironmentAbility to move through facility and up and down stairsAbility to lift 40 lbs.Ability to visually see hard copy work orders and shipping documents
