Job Description

Production Technician – 2nd Shift (2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.)Pay: $14.50/hr and up DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Temp-to-Hire PositionWe are seeking a reliable and quality-focused Production Technician to join our 2nd shift team. This role plays a key part in supporting the production process by operating machinery, packing materials, monitoring product quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.Responsibilities
  • Review and understand the daily production schedule
  • Record production data on communication and tracking boards
  • Operate manufacturing equipment including mills, extruders, and ovens
  • Pack finished products into correct boxes and apply accurate labels
  • Palletize finished goods and prepare them for movement or shipment
  • Identify and correct basic workflow issues
  • Ensure correct weighing, measurements, and material formulations
  • Verify product quality through visual checks and quality systems (AIMS, QMS, etc.)
  • Use measuring instruments and tools accurately
  • Communicate issues or concerns to supervision immediately
  • Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized throughout the shift
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1–2 years of manufacturing or production experience
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills
  • Basic computer skills for quality documentation
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the entire shift
  • Comfortable working around industrial equipment with proper PPE
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
