Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Receiving QA/QC Reports To: Shop Operations Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt SummaryThis position’s primary objective is to receive, inspect, label, store and document all materials for projects. The position will also have secondary objectives listed below. Essential Job Functions ● Track purchase orders and master material list (MML) as they are submitted● Receive raw, pre-processed, machined, fabricated otherwise materials for projects● Inspect all goods, inspect, verify and confirm receipt of Adaptive Purchases● Maintain a consistent and detailed account of Receiving Operations and Material Managing Records● Complete QA/QC records for ASME Code Projects● Review purchase orders to confirm specifications, dimensions or otherwise requirements to confirm inspection and receipt● Update Receiving Status in the weekly Staff Meeting, by project ● Provide updates to Project and Operations Managers when requested● Upon inspection, label, store and update records● Create BOL & Packing Lists for Job Site and Vendor Deliveries● Report and detail discrepancies to Project and Operations Managers● Create material & small part storage plan, location for each project.● Organize and maintain Parts Room & Project Storages Area(s) clean and orderly. ● Review MS Project Schedule to benchmark Receiving Operations● Provide purchasing support for shop and field tools, consumables and parts● Provide support with weld records, qualifications and procedures● Provide occasional shuttle, pick-up, drop-off activities within 60 miles of headquarters● Provide support to Tool Depot as assigned by Supervisor ONLY Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (Competencies) ● Must be a team player willing to guide the members to work together as well as work with all employees in the company.● Must have strong computer skills with complete knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.● Must be flexible and extend efforts when workload increases.● Must be able to recognize the need to assist in various activities to learn, meet schedule or aid a fellow employee. ● Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment while still producing accurate work.● Must provide people skills to work with many different personalities.● Must maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards the company and its employees● Problem-solving and analytical skills along with strong organizational discipline. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Education and Experience

- 2-yr degree, trade school or high school degree
- Adequate years of related experience in logistics, operations, receiving, inspection and quality.
- Must be prepared with adequate clothing for receiving in inclement weather.
- Must have a valid drivers license to shuttle within 60 miles of headquarters.
- Must be present at either headquarters or job site to complete job responsibilities. In other words, work from home is not permitted.
