New Account Specialist
Job Description
Position Summary:The New Accounts Specialist plays a key role in driving company growth by opening and nurturing new wholesale accounts. This position is responsible for identifying and reaching out to potential customers, introducing products, and delivering an exceptional experience that fosters long-term relationships. Success in this role requires excellent communication, a customer-first attitude, and a passion for learning about sales and account management.Key Responsibilities:Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Identify potential wholesale clients through online research, trade shows, referrals, and networking.
- Initiate contact with prospective and existing customers via phone, email, text, and social media to generate leads and drive sales growth.
- Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers.
- Engage regularly with clients through various channels to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
- Provide customers with detailed product information, pricing, promotional offers, and availability.
- Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and sales strategies aligned with team objectives.
- Accurately enter and manage customer orders in the system.
- Address billing, shipping, and product inquiries, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Track sales activity and customer interactions using CRM tools.
- Stay up to date on market trends and competitor activity while working toward individual and team sales goals.
- Industry & Product Knowledge – Interest in or willingness to learn about martial arts equipment, fitness trends, and industry practices.
- Customer Service Excellence – Friendly, patient, and attentive approach to customer interactions.
- Effective Communication – Clear, professional communication across phone, email, and social platforms.
- Organizational Skills – Ability to manage multiple accounts, tasks, and follow-ups efficiently.
- Technical Proficiency – Comfortable using CRM platforms, order systems, and digital tools.
- Professionalism – Reliable, positive, adaptable, and eager to grow within a team environment.
- Sitting: Up to 90% of the workday
- Occasional bending, crouching, kneeling, or standing (approx. 10%)
- Visual acuity: 20/40 (correctable with glasses or contacts)
- Frequent use of a keyboard and computer
- Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling
- Talking and hearing required
- Occasional travel may be required
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of experience in outbound sales
- Background or interest in the martial arts industry is a plus, but not required
- $17.00 to $19.00 Temp to Perm
