Job Description
Stacker
- Assembly of Core Laminations:
- Stacking involves assembling thin steel laminations into the core of the transformer. These laminations are usually cut into specific shapes and stacked together to form the core, which is a critical component in reducing energy losses due to eddy currents.
- Layer Alignment and Stacking Sequence:
- The laminations must be aligned precisely and stacked in a specific sequence to ensure optimal performance of the transformer. Proper alignment is crucial for minimizing losses and ensuring efficient magnetic flux distribution. Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly in a safe manner.
- Inspection and Testing:
- The stacked cores are inspected for any defects or misalignments. Quality control measures are applied to ensure that the core meets the design specifications and performance standards.
