Job Description
Located in West Tulsa / Sapulpa area.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- This job requires the individual to work with and around overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, power equipment, automated equipment and other hazardous processes which requires this job to be classified a SAFETY SENSITIVE position.
- Must be able to read detailed drawing for proper fit up.
- Must be able to set up and operate a cutting torch and plasma torch.
- Knowledge of welding processes GMAW AND FCAW.
- Operate overhead cranes, pallet jack and dollies to move equipment and materials into position.
- Inspect and evaluate work to insure it is free of defects and conforms to set specifications.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Inspect and ensure equipment is in good working order at the start and the end of the shift.
- Adhere to company safety policies and quality procedures.
- Report any equipment or product defect to the supervisor.
- Must demonstrate the desire to perform in a professional manner as a member of a team and give inputs on activities that will help complete project assignments in a timely and efficient manner while upholding the safety and quality standards.
- Read and interpret detailed drawings.
- Able to set up and operate a cutting torch, plasma and welding machine.
- Perform layouts of material as needed
- Pass fit up and weld test as needed.
