Job Description
Valve Technician (Entry-Level, Temp-to-Hire)
Pay: $20–22/hour DOE
We are currently seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Valve Technician to join our team.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for full-time employment and pay increase for candidates who demonstrate strong performance and reliability.
Position Overview
This is an entry-level role ideal for individuals with solid mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience. While direct valve experience is a plus, it is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble valves and related components
Use hand tools and basic shop equipment safely and effectively
Evaluate parts for wear, damage, or defects
Document work performed and inspection results
Utilize Microsoft Office products for reporting and documentation
Strong mechanical aptitude
Comfortable using hand tools and working with mechanical components
Ability to take apart and reassemble equipment accurately
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
Attention to detail and ability to identify defects or irregularities
Strong work ethic and reliability
Previous mechanical, maintenance, or technician experience
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or shop environments
