Warehouse Associate
Job Description
Warehouse Associate – $17.50/hr – Monday–Friday – Temp to HireThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, order pulling, packing, labeling, and shipping materials. This role requires previous warehouse experience and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Essential Job Duties
- Order Pulling / Order Picking: Pull customer orders using work orders, pick lists, or RF scanners.
- Packing & Labeling: Pack, seal, wrap, and label materials for shipment.
- Shipping & Receiving:
- Compare incoming and outgoing shipments with manifests, invoices, and orders.
- Record shipment details including weights, counts, packaging, and shipping method.
- Prepare documents such as bills of lading, shipping labels, and work orders.
- Material Handling:
- Move, stage, and organize products throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks (manual or pallet jack).
- Quality Checks:
- Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or non-conforming items.
- Report material issues to the supervisor.
- Inventory Support:
- Assist with cycle counts, stock rotation, and shelf organization.
- Teamwork & Safety: Work with team members to maintain safe, clean, and efficient warehouse operations.
- 1+ year of warehouse experience
- Experience with order picking / order pulling
- Experience with packing, labeling, and preparing shipments
- Experience with shipping & receiving processes
- Ability to use RF scanners or pick tickets
- Forklift experience is a plus – Sit down or stand up
- Basic computer or data entry skills
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs as needed
- Ability to pass a Nationwide Background Check
- Ability to pass a Drug Screen
- High School Diploma or GED
- Consistent work history with strong job longevity
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Monday–Friday, 1st shift
- $17.50/hr
- Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
