Job Summary:We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team at a leading provider of high-quality garage doors and related products. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to start in the warehouse industry with the potential for long-term, permanent employment. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment and performing a variety of tasks to support warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack garage doors, parts, and accessories based on customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and organization of products within the warehouse.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Process inbound and outbound shipments, including unloading trucks, verifying shipments, and preparing packages for delivery.
  • Quality Control: Inspect items for damage and ensure they are in excellent condition before shipment.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Equipment Use: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move products efficiently (if certified).
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to minimize the risk of injury or accidents.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift to 50 lbs. regularly and stand for extended periods.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to warehouse goals.
  • Work Ethic: Strong sense of reliability and punctuality.
  • Forklift Certification (optional): A plus, but not required. Training can be provided.
  • Positive Attitude: Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
